Last night we did our traditional Christmas Tree decorating. We like to do it the weekend after Thanksgiving for a few reasons. One being that it's the anniversary of my dad's passing. One of the best last memories Corey and I have of my dad is him coming over to our condo on Mozart, helping us decorate our Christmas tree, making and him eating a million chocolate chip cookies and all watching Charlie Brown's Christmas together. It was such a sweet memory that every year when we decorate our tree we think of him and miss him.Mia and I took long afternoon naps so instead of going to the tree farm as planned, daddy had to go get our tree while we slept. We made a big dinner of pork roast with cranberries, stuffing, mashed potatoes and corn. Then we decorated our tree. This year Mia LOVED it. She got into it big time. She kept taking ornaments out of the container and putting them (in the same spot) on the tree. She loved it. She even insisted on wearing her Christmas tutu the entire night. After we decorated the tree we made some sugar and chocolate chip cookies and enjoyed some egg nog and hot chocolate (milk for Mia). Then watched the Looney Tune's Christmas.
