Went to Land of Nod with Grandma this past Thanksgiving week. Bought the crib bumper (wonder if I'll even use it), sheets, quilt (wonder if I'll even use that too) and skirt....it looks great in the room. Grandma bought a cute lamp also that makes the room cozy. Finally found some curtains online that I need to order that will match the brown and pink eaves...still narrowing down the rug. Now we need to organize the closet, get the dresser (once it's done being painted, hurry hurry grandma) and we'll be all set, almost! Think it's time to start stocking up on diapers and wipes?

I can't believe I am 27 weeks and 1 day, as of today! We are under 100 days now until little Baby C makes her appearance. It's all so surreal to me right now.

Mommy is sick

It's no fun being sick when you are pregnant. Not only do you worry about the baby but you really can't take any sort of medicine. Luckily, I feel almost back to normal but I know I must have lost a few pounds since I haven't had a solid meal since Saturday dinner. But I feel her kicking strong so I know that she is OK.

Our crib and other furniture arrived on Wednesday. Corey put the crib together this weekend and I had put together the dressing table on Thursday. All we need is our dresser and decorations. Tomorrow in the city I plan on shopping with my mom for the bedding/rugs/curtains...depending on what I find I might order some of it online since I have seen a few things that I really liked.

The crib is coming!

After hours (seriously I can't get off this computer) and hours or researching and checking out other mom's reviews, I finally made a crib decision. We are going with the Bonavita Monroe crib, it's manufactured in Italy and the USA so I know it will be safe...and I have read tons of great reviews on this manufacturer. We got the crib in the white finish and also a matching changing table. So this week it should be arriving...can't wait to set it up!

And last night I was dreaming about strollers and car seats because all day I kept researching them! Ugh it's so tough to decide which brand, type, style, etc. to get. So far, and I could change my mind again, I will go with the Chicco Key Fit infant seat and the Maclaren snap and go...I have read the Maclaren is the best snap and go and the Chicco will fit nicely in there. Who knows, I could change my mind again! I love the baby bargains message boards, tons of good information and great reviews from parents!

I'm HUGE

Here I am at 24 weeks and 4 days. Yesterday's doctor's appointment went fine, her heartbeat was 148 and my blood pressure is nice and low. Next visit is the fun blood sugar test!!! Now this photo was taken at night and preggo's bellies ALWAYS are bigger at night for some reason. Here I am after a girl's night out and boy do I look huge! (photo taken at 9pm) ENJOY
