Deep freeze

Soooo our Christmas break has been extended by two extra days due to wind chills as low as -44! We don't mind at all staying warm inside. Monday we had an impromptu play date with some friends and tomorrow we plan to go to the movies with some other friends to break the cabin fever!

I did my first snow and longest trail run this past Saturday in southern Illinois called the Siberian Express. It was a 7.45 mile run with some major climbs on snow and ice. It was hard work but loads of fun and I got my first race of the year in!
