Mia and I drove up to Michigan on Sunday to our summer house to spend the week with just Grandma (and the beagles) for our annual girls week. It was lots of fun. We went Blueberry picking which Mia just loved - she was eating the berries right off the bush! We went to the Curious Kids museum in St. Joe's and then to lunch. We had dinner at Woodfire in Dowagiac. We went to the Deer Forest and petting zoo, which Mia enjoyed, although the place was rather run down and I am investigating the care of the animals there. We did visit some of our favorite wineries in the area We swam in the pool, took the long walks with the dogs and had a relaxing time. Grandma and mom had some quiet time at night while Mia slept. Mia loved listening to grandma play her french horn and had lots of fun with grandma making her giggle.
