Choir

Today was Mia's last choir performance before summer break. She did great and we can see her growth from the first time she sang to now. Piano is going nicely too. She is working on G position and b flat this week. I'll post Ode to Joy later this week.

Greek Easter & Annie's cake

We celebrated our annual Greek Easter this year in Greek Town. Since it was so close to Annie's birthday we brought her cake and had a mini celebration with my side if the family. It was fun. The girls had a great time. Here we are singing happy birthday. Opa!

Almost 3 - check up

I took Annie to the dr this morning for her 3 yr old check up. All looks good and she growing on target. Passed all her speech and comprehension tests with flyin colors. She is 29.5 lbs and 37.5 in tall - nearly identical to Mia's stats at 3. She's so stinking smart. Annie blows me away daily. So lovable and funny. She just knows when to make me laugh or when to give me a hug.

rain, rain go away!

It has been a monsoon the last two days! At least we were outside most of all last weekend. It looks like drier weather so hopefully everything will dry out soon.

On Sunday we grilled out and ate outside. The girls both kept saying "mommy/daddy you are the best cooker ever". Lately this week they have been saying "mommy/daddy you are the best mommy/daddy ever". So sweet :)

Mady's pony party

All week the girls have been super excited for their cousin Mady's 3rd birthday party. It was a pony party with real ponies, Honey and Paulie. The ponies got to Mady's house right when we arrived. The girls and Mady's friend all took turns riding. It was so cute! Of course it was cold and actually started to snow so we didn't last long outside. We did feed them carrots before they had to go back to their farm. Then the girls made cowgirl hats and each got to take home a stick pony. The girls had a blast playing with Mady and didn't want to leave.
After the party we met Uncle Brian and Grandpa for dinner which was super fun too. We got home and still had movie night. It was a fun day.

The weather has been pretty nice this week. The girls stay outside all day which is a nice change. Friday grandma came to babysit so dad and I could go on a date to see one of mom's favorite singers in concert down in the city. It was a GREAT night out.

cuts and tumbles

Hair cuts for both girls today! Annie wanted a 'bob' again so I let her get one...and it really looks cute in it! Mia's hair was trimmed about 3 inches - it was super long!

Annie's first gymnastics class today. So cute! She loved it. Big girl!!
